Volunteer Volunteers are needed in all areas of the ministry. A volunteer receptionist answers the phone, directs calls, takes messages, makes appointments and helps client fill out intake forms. Volunteers work in the sort room identifying items that will go into the thrift store for sale and pricing them. Volunteers also work in the thrift store making sure the inventory is fresh and displayed well for seasonal sales. Volunteers are needed to work in the food pantry stocking the shelves with food and putting together food orders for clients. Other volunteers are needed to help unload food and sort food when it comes in from the Regional food bank and other sources of donations. Volunteers are needed to work the after hours On-Call to insure that people are helped under emergency situations after the doors close or on the weekend. Gifts If you would like to make a financial donation to the ministry please mail a check made out to Cooperating Ministry of Logan County to 230 N. 10th Ave. Sterling, CO 80751. Cooperating Ministry is a 501 (c) 3 non profit corporation and your donation is a valid tax deduction. A letter acknowledging your donation will be mailed to you.
